Edzard, a colorful artist who has carried on the traditions of the masters of French Impressionism, studied painting with Max Beckmann. In 1929, Edzard's work was included in an exhibition of contemporary painting at the Jeu de Paume, Paris, a museum dedicated to the Impressionist masters. Edzard, a colorful artist who has carried on the traditions of the masters of French Impressionism, studied painting with Max Beckmann. In 1929, Edzard's work was included in an exhibition of contemporary painting at the Jeu de Paume, Paris, a museum dedicated to the Impressionist masters. In 1938, Edzard married Suzanne Eisendieck (1908-1998), a well-regarded artist in her own right who worked in an impressionist style. In his book D.
