She studied at the Arts Students League in New York with Kenyon Cox and with William Merritt Chase and later with Kenneth Hayes Miller. Edith also studied with Arthur Wesley Dow in Ipswich, Massachusetts, and with Charles W. Hawthorne in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She was active with the Provincetown Art Colony from the mid-teens to 1923 and made her first white line print with the Provincetown Printers in 1914. She... Read full biography
