In his adult years he was tall for his times, six foot three or four, with a swimmers build, broad shoulders, slim hips, long legs, high cheekbones, white hair, black moustache, and brown eyes. He was born near London, England April 6, 1908 and lived to be 62, dying in January 1971. His family migrated to the United States around 1918. He had one sibling, Stephen, whose...
