HENRY SYLVESTER TALBOT, son of Sylvester W. and Margaret (Guild) Talbot, was born in Dedham, Massachusetts, August 15, 1836, and died in Dedham, April 9, 1924. Talbot attended Dedham Public Schools. In early life he learned the use of engraving tools and made many wood engravings which he printed himself. He did some of his engraving work in Boston.
