In 1938 she received a certificate in chiropractics and opened an office on Haight Street. About 1942 she began painting and studied locally with George Post and Dong Kingman. She served on the jury and board of directors of the California State Fair Art Exhibition and won many awards before her demise in San Francisco on Nov. 12, 1992. Although she painted still...
