He lived for many years inTaos, New Mexico, where he established Stoneworks in 1992. He studied Fine Art and Design in New York, receiving a BFA from SUNY Purchase, NY before returning to the West Coast. As a stonemason, he has specialized in custom hand crafted stonework installations for over 20 years. By 1973, he had already participated in numerous international solo and group shows with pieces in the permanent collections of the Guggenheim Museum, NY and LACMA.
