Although she has had no formal training, her desire to paint was kindled early, and she began painting commissioned portraits in oil at the tender age of 14. She made Woodland Park, Colorado her home in 1975 where she still resides with her husband, Shane, and their two sons. It is here that she has met and painted many of her favorite subjects.
