Among his portrait subjects are Maurice Maeterlinck, Caruso, Chaliapin, Tito Ruffo, Sarah Delano Roosevelt, Professor Zielinski, Queen Marie-Jose, Ignacy Paderewski, and Pola Negri just to mention a few. In recognition of his painting, Tade Styka won the Medal of the Legion of Honor, the highest award of the French Government. The artist died in New York City on September... Read full biography
