Urged on by the recommendations of the Cincinnati art community to study in Munich, Meakin followed that advice and celebrated his thirtieth birthday in Europe. Urged on by the recommendations of the Cincinnati art community to study in Munich, Meakin followed that advice and celebrated his thirtieth birthday in Europe.
