She grew up the daughter of French and German immigrants in Chicago, Ilinois. Here, she attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago during the 1930's . She grew up the daughter of French and German immigrants in Chicago, Ilinois. Here, she attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago during the 1930's . It was at this school she met Frank Perri (also featured on Askart.com) and was married. She moved to Mexico with Frank Perri for several years to paint and be a wife. After Mexico, the artists moved to Oak Park, Ilinois, where she continued painting recreationally and maintained a day job and raised three children. She resides today in Chesterton, Indiana.
