First of the three sons of Domenico Piatti (1848 - 1915), appreciated sculptor and marble worker for generations, and Maria Buzzi Donelli (1852 - 1940) at 12 years he entered the paternal workshop determined to follow in his footsteps and subsequently at the study of the Turin sculptor Leonardo Bistolfi. First of the three sons of Domenico Piatti (1848 - 1915), appreciated sculptor and marble worker for generations, and Maria Buzzi Donelli (1852 - 1940) at 12 years he entered the paternal workshop determined to follow in his footsteps and subsequently at the study of the Turin sculptor Leonardo Bistolfi.
