His family fled Czechlosovakia while he was a baby relocating near Munich, later Bohuslav relocated to Blackpool to be with his mother. Bohuslav later attended The Manchester School of Art, then onto the Central School of Art in London. Bohuslav settled in Todmorden, Lancashire in the 1970s where he still remains today.
