She began her art education at UC Santa Barbara, moved on to UC Berkeley where she studied with renowned artist Christopher Brown and from there went on to study at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California painting... Her love of horses led her to ride the hills during her childhood, spending summers on horseback exploring the scenes she now paints. She began her art education at UC Santa Barbara, moved on to UC Berkeley where she studied with renowned artist Christopher Brown and from there went on to study at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California painting under Dan McCaw and Richard Bunkall. Carol graduated with honors in 1987.
