In 1743 he was again in Frankfurt and in 1744 married Anna Hochecker. In 1749 Schutz occupied the Brunswicker Hof and painted around 1750 in the castle Wilhelmsthal in Calden near Kassel 15 Supraporten for Landgrave William VIII of Hesse-Kassel.
