The same year he organized his first exhibition with Roddy Maude-Roxby. To 1955 he founded together with other art lovers the Pancyprian Union of which he was president. From 1956 - 1959 he lived in Paris where he attended painting classes at the Academy of Andre Lhote. Aftin period presented his works both in France and Cyprus.
