Born in Dublin, Dorothy studied at the Royal Hibernian Academy Schools and afterwards at Goldsmiths' College London. Specializing in landscapes, town-scapes and large-scale linocut prints, she exhibited at the Royal Ulster Academy, the Water Colour Society of Ireland (to whom she submitted more than 130 pictures over the years) and the Ulster Society of Women Artists. Her main showings however were at the Royal Hibernian Academy, where she exhibited for thirty years, from the age of 20. She... Read full biography

Specializing in landscapes, town-scapes and large-scale linocut prints, she exhibited at the Royal Ulster Academy, the Water Colour Society of Ireland (to whom she submitted more than 130 pictures over the years) and the Ulster Society of Women Artists. Her main showings however were at the Royal Hibernian Academy, where she exhibited for thirty years, from the age of 20. She held several solo shows in several venues in Dublin, including the Stephen's Green Gallery (1936 and 1943).
