The artist settled in Paris until 1933, where his paintings were put out on the Salon des Indépendants, Salon d’avomne and Salon des Tuileries from 1926–37. The artist settled in Paris until 1933, where his paintings were put out on the Salon des Indépendants, Salon d’avomne and Salon des Tuileries from 1926–37. In 1933, he returned to Sweden and settled in Stockholm. He has painted portraits, self-portraits, still lifes, nude studies and French and Swedish landscapes in oil and tempera, including from Norrland, the West Coast and Skåne and urban environments from Uppsala and Stockholm. The execution is elegant with well-tuned colorite.
