During this time he studied at the ASL and Grand Central Art School under Dean Cornwell and Pruett Carter. While there, he painted many winter scenes of the Catskill Mountains and did drawings of NYC which he later used for his etchings and lithographs. Returning to California in 1937, he settled in Pasadena and began painting and sketching throughout southern... Read full biography
