He painted cityscapes in Bern, St. Moritz, Naples, Ostend, Paris and elsewhere, as well as genre scenes, usually gallant scenes set in the 18th century for wealthy aristocrats. He painted cityscapes in Bern, St. Moritz, Naples, Ostend, Paris and elsewhere, as well as genre scenes, usually gallant scenes set in the 18th century for wealthy aristocrats. His cityscapes lean towards the style of Eugene Galien-Laloue (1854-1941). Many of his paintings were turned into etchings. Painting major cities, scenes and locations throughout Europe, Giusto also executed several outstanding works capturing life on the sea.
