Georg Richter-Lussnitz (actually Julius Georg Richter), called himself "Georg Richter-Lößnitz" as an artist from the 1920's. Richter was born in Leipzig in 1891. He was a German painter, etcher, fresco artist, illustrator, interior designer, designer and commercial artist. From 1905-1907 he studied at the Royal School of Applied Arts in Dresden, followed by a technical apprenticeship. Georg Richter-Lussnitz (actually Julius Georg Richter), called himself "Georg Richter-Lößnitz" as an artist from the 1920's. Richter was born in Leipzig in 1891. He was a German painter, etcher, fresco artist, illustrator, interior designer, designer and commercial artist. From 1905-1907 he studied at the Royal School of Applied Arts in Dresden, followed by a technical apprenticeship. He studied from 1910-1913 at the Dresden Art Academy with Richard Müller and Carl Bantzer. Richter lived and worked in Kötzschenbroda, and was a member of the Reich Association of Fine Artists in Germany.
