In 1914 he moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada with his parents and then shortly afterwards to Kingston, Ontario. He subsequently lived in Ottawa, Ontario; Montreal; and Val-David, Quebec ( in the Laurentians about 50 miles north of Montreal) where he died. His primary mediums were oil and watercolour. He subsequently lived in Ottawa, Ontario; Montreal; and Val-David, Quebec ( in the Laurentians about 50 miles north of Montreal) where he died. His primary mediums were oil and watercolour.
