He then studied in Munich with Carl Rottmann and formed between 1838-41 in Italy on. From this time, the painting comes with the June temple in an olive grove in Agrigento. Papperitz not lost it in topographic and genre-like details, his concern is playing the warm southern light. From a low point of view, the viewer's gaze moves up to the ancient ruins of Junotempels.
