Henry Inlander was born in Vienna in 1925. Inlander later settled in England, obtaining British citizenship in 1947. He studied art at St. Martin's School of Art from 1939-1941 and at The Camberwell School of Art as well as The Slade under William Coldstream, Rogers, Passmore and Gowing. The artist won a Rome scholarship in 1952 and premiered a one man exhibition at the gallery La Tartaruga Rome in 1953. Henry Inlander passed away in 1983.
