The pictures were given by Mr. Henry Ford to his housekeeper at Fairlane (Dearborn, Michigan) who subsequently gave them to my mother and from my mother to me. Irving R. Bacon was a sponsored protege of Henry Ford and studied art in Munich, Germany in the early 1900's. Upon his return to the United States, Mr. Bacon became the "house" painter for Henry...
