After receiving a scholarship in 1932, at the beginning of his career he went to Vilnius, where he studied painting under Slendzinski at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Stefan Batory University in Poznan. After receiving a scholarship in 1932, at the beginning of his career he went to Vilnius, where he studied painting under Slendzinski at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Stefan Batory University in Poznan. From 1929, Kaczmarkiewicz made illustrations for Catholic magazines. After the Poles were expelled from Vilnius, Kaczmarkiewicz taught painting in Bytom and Katowice. From 1959 he was a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers.
