Janusz Christa was a Polish comic book artist who created the popular characters Kajko and Kokosz. He made his debut in 1957 with "Opowiesci o Armstrong" for "Jazz" magazine and worked for many years with the Tri-City newspaper "Wybrzeze Wybrzeze". His most famous work is the Kajko and Kokosz series, which is still popular today. Christa stopped creating comics in the 90s due to health reasons and passed away in 2008. He was awarded the Gloria Artis medal in 2007
