With her colleague, Henry Lion, [1900-1966] she created the Art Deco figure, Power of Water for Lafayette Park in Los Angeles. Herron was born in Denver, Colorado in 1900. After earning her degree from Stanford University, she studied at the Academie Colarossi in Paris. She also studied at the Los Angeles County Art Institute, the Otis Art Institute, the University of Southern California and privately with Merrell Gage and F. Tolles Chamberlin. From 1945-on, she...
