He later moved to Limoges, attended a decorative arts school, and worked in a porcelain factory. Paguenaud studied with William Bouguereau and joined the navy, traveling and exhibiting his works at the Salon des Indépendants in 1905. Paguenaud studied with William Bouguereau and joined the navy, traveling and exhibiting his works at the Salon des Indépendants in 1905.
