In 1972, for the American publisher Harlin Quist, he conceived the iconography of the Tale of Ionesco No. 4. He joined the team of the magazine Métal Hurlant in 1977 and began Darkbusters Affairs, succession of short fantastic stories written by Picaret and him- even.
