He attended the Fachsschule für Glasmalerei in Zwiesel first, and afterwards the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich, where he studied from 1921-27. He was a master student of Becker-Gundahl. He became a member of the group ‚Juryfreien‘ (1923-1933) and held prosperous exhibitions. Other well-known members of the ‘Juryfreien’ are Erna Dinklage, G. He was a master student of Becker-Gundahl. He became a member of the group ‚Juryfreien‘ (1923-1933) and held prosperous exhibitions. Other well-known members of the ‘Juryfreien’ are Erna Dinklage, G. Grassmann, K. Röhrig oder W. Panizza. Nerud became an internationally recognized graphic artist after illustrating the German first edition of Ernest Hemingways “Der alte Mann und das Meer’. He also joined the ‘Donau-Wald-Gruppe’ and still dealt with his home landscape. He passed away in 1982, and his works are still in private... Read full biography
