Painter. Between 1917-18, then between 1921 and 1926 he was a student of István Réti and Oszkár Glatz at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. In 1925-26 he worked at the Miskolc Art Colony with his scholarship. After a year of study in Munich, he participated in the establishment of the Réti disciples in the establishment of the Szentendre art colony. He settled permanently in Szentendre in 1927, where he also worked as a grammar school teacher.
