Karl-August Lebschee was a German painter, draftsman, and graphic artist. In 1815, Lebschee received a scholarship from the King of Bavaria, where he studied at the Munich Art Academy with Max Josef Wagenbauer, Johann Georg Dillis, Wilhelm von Kobell and Carl Ernst Christoph Heß.
