In the early 1930s he settled in Los Angeles where he was on the faculty at the Chouinard School of Art. Walking past the Disney Studios in 1934, he went in, applied for a job, and stayed for 44 years. In the early 1930s he settled in Los Angeles where he was on the faculty at the Chouinard School of Art. Walking past the Disney Studios in 1934, he went in, applied for a job, and stayed for 44 years. While there, he was an animator on "Snow White" and art director of "Fantasia," "Pinocchio," and others. Before retirement in 1978, he helped design Disneyland and many of its attractions.
