He received his bachelor's degree in art from the Art Institute of Chicago. From 1936 to 1945 Raymer lived on his family farm again and continued to develop his artwork. He received his bachelor's degree in art from the Art Institute of Chicago. From 1936 to 1945 Raymer lived on his family farm again and continued to develop his artwork.
