Between 1968 and 1971 he worked across a range of sculptural practices, including statuary, religious imagery, relief work, busts, and ornamental carving, while also undertaking professional projects in interior and industrial design. His first solo exhibition took place in 1971, marking the beginning of a career that would expand internationally.
