Max Flashar was born in 1855. He was a painter and draftsman, who studied at the Grand Ducal Saxon Art School at Weimar in Stanislaus of Kalckreuth. Following a study trip to Paris, he then studied in Berlin. Max Flashar also worked as an illustrator. From 1909 he participated in the exhibitions of the Munich Glass Palace. He passed away in 1915.
