Max Nordt was a German landscape painter born in 1895 in Blankenhain, Germany. He received artistic training in Munich from 1918-1920 and spent summers in Berchtesgadener Land from 1920 onwards. He attended exhibitions in various cities including Berlin, Breslau, Braunschweig, Hamburg, and Cuxhaven. In 1934, he was initially banned from working but continued to be active in Weimar, Berchtesgaden, and Blankenhain. He passed away in Blankenhain in 1979.
