Nikolaj Karasin was born in 1942. Nikolaj Karasin studied in Moscow and attended the Imperial Art Academy in St. Petersburg. He was an officer in Turkestan. After he had resigned from military service he participated in expeditions organized by the Russian Geographic Society, became a newspaper correspondent and traveled several times through the vast territory of Turkestan. Nikolaj Karasin was born in 1942. Nikolaj Karasin studied in Moscow and attended the Imperial Art Academy in St. Petersburg. He was an officer in Turkestan. After he had resigned from military service he participated in expeditions organized by the Russian Geographic Society, became a newspaper correspondent and traveled several times through the vast territory of Turkestan. Karasin participated regularly with landscape and genre paintings in exhibitions of the Society of Russian Watercolour Artists, where he was a founding members. Nicolai Karazin passed away in 1908.
