He also studied in England with Myron Barlow, and in Paris where he exhibited at the Paris Salon. In addition he exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Boston Art Club, Pennsylvania Academy, and the Pittsburgh Art Association. During the 1915 Pan-American Exposition in San Francisco, he was in that area for an extended period of time. From 1921 to 1943, he was a teacher at the Carnegie Institute.
