Olga Cäcilie Elisabeth von Minden, better known by her professional artist name, Olga Potthast von Minden, was born on July 19, 1869 in Sanderbusch, Germany to station master, Carl Lüdet von Minden, who worked for the Oldenburg State Railway, and Marie-Louise von Minden, and she had one sibling.
