His creations in photography, watercolor, oil, tapestry, application, collage and public decoration show an outstanding versatility and as a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts (1953-63) he shared with his students his great knowledge of materials, his deep knowledge of classical design, his playfulness and his familiarity with modernism. It was in the 1960s that Olle Nyman began to "build" his collage sculptures. At first it was a spiritual game that was not meant to be shown to the outside world.... Read full biography
