Born March 25, 1929 at the Tesuque Peublo, New Mexico, Patrick Hinds became a teacher, lecturer, silk-screen processor, and after 1958, a full-time painter working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and printmaking. He used a variety of techniques including palette knife, oil on paper, dry brush, soft brush with spatter and mixed media.
