The following information comes from Nancy Baldwin:. In sorting through some of my mother's estate, I came upon a letter written to my aunt from the Art Assoc. of Indianapolis dated June 27, 1963. (John Herron Museum of Art) Their records indicated that Paul Randall was born in 1879 and died in 1933. As a youth, he ran away to become a sailor. He was also an architect's apprentice, and he tried writing. But painting was his life's love. He had a studio at 3204 Bellefontaine in Indianapolis and... Read full biography

(John Herron Museum of Art) Their records indicated that Paul Randall was born in 1879 and died in 1933. As a youth, he ran away to become a sailor. He was also an architect's apprentice, and he tried writing. But painting was his life's love. He had a studio at 3204 Bellefontaine in Indianapolis and a workshop in Richmond(both in Indiana). He died of a heart attack while on a sketching trip to Brown County.
