Beatty, Fred Haines and Arthur Lismer. Beginning in the 1920's Stoyan traveled quite extensively and exhibited both his landscapes and city views during this time. He exhibited there for several years and worked mainly as an illustrator. His work from this early period is signed either, 'Stoyanoff' (his real name) or 'Stoin'.
