Raphaël Kirchner. 1876-1917. Kirchner was born in 1876 in Vienna, Austria. He attended the Akademie der Bildenden Kunste in Vienna before moving to Paris at the turn of the century. Kirchner exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français and collaborated with several Parisian journals and magazines including La Vie Parisienne. In August of 1914 Kirchner moved to the United States. Kirchner exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français and collaborated with several Parisian journals and magazines including La Vie Parisienne. In August of 1914 Kirchner moved to the United States.
