She is the daughter of William Perehudoff and Dorothy Knowles and growing up in this artistic environment has helped form her unique approach to the landscape. She first obtained a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1978. Shortly after, Rebecca left for Europe where she traveled and painted the sights of the countryside. She first obtained a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1978. Shortly after, Rebecca left for Europe where she traveled and painted the sights of the countryside. She has lived in Chicago since the late 1980's, where she studied Printmaking at the Art Institute and Sculpture and Psychology at the College of DuPage.
