Similar to his ancestors, Robert was taught watercolour painting and is always working outdoors or ‘en plein air’ in order to really capture his subject which is usually specific landmarks or rivers. Egginton took on painting in order to make a living. He lives in the Highlands of Scotland, painting full time and constantly exhibits his works in Scotland, London and Ireland....
