A prominent Canadian, painter, sculptor, educator, combat pilot, and Official War Artist, Flight Lieutenant Robert Stewart Hyndman was born in Edmonton, Alberta and died in Old Chelsea, Quebec (National Capital Region) where he had lived since 1945.
