Li Shizhuo (1687-1770) was Gao Qipei's (1672-1734) nephew and came from Fengtian in Liaoning. He was good at painting landscapes, figures, flower and birds, and fruits. While traveling with his father in his youth, he met Wang Hui (1632-1717) and had a talk with him, which resulted in his painting style being traditional and delicate.
