Theodoros Manolidis was born in Athens in 1940. He studied at the School of Fine Arts under Yannis Moralis from 1957 to 1961 and then in the École des Beaux Arts in Paris (1961-1962). He had his first solo exhibition in Paris in 1975 and, since 1973, participated in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
